I had used quicken for years, but was tired of paying for updates and always having to get used to a new system. Then our computer crashed, we lost all of our data (yea, yea) -- no worries on that with mint!I brought student loan debt into our marriage (15 years ago!) and it took about six years in to pay it off. We also paid for my husband's degree during that time. We've been in debt off and on since then, but we've always felt like we've been "responsible" with it. No more! We are snowballing our current debt and are slowly changing our ways in order not to accrue any more, no matter how "responsible" we are with it!

At the rate I'm going now I'll have the CC debt paid off in 8 months! Although I'm shooting for 6 now. How's Vancamped.com?

Yeah…you know it’s not quite as bad as I thought it was going to be. I think you can definitely pay down those cards and auto loan and you'll be in a much more stable place. Good deal. Also, I'm trying to get mint.com to add my credit card so I can effectively use it. They responded to me, but it sounds like it is a problem on MSUFCU's end (I have a VISA through them).

Oh boy. Finally went back and read this one.
